Prevention & Early Detection Cluster: explore key insights in our fourth newsletter

The Prevention & Early Detection Cluster is proud to announce the release of its fourth newsletter, showcasing the progress across key research projects, including DIOPTRA, LUCIA, MammoScreen, ONCOSCREEN, PANCAID, and SANGUINE. These initiatives collectively contribute to the ambitious Mission Cancer, which aims to enhance the quality of life for over 3 million people by 2030.

The PANCAID project announced a masterclass on liquid biopsy diagnostics, highlighting the growing role of blood-based tests in early cancer detection. The SANGUINE project presented a pilot currently underway across Europe and Israel, transitioning from validation into real-world implementation. The ONCOSCREEN project raised awareness of the importance of early screening and detection, even in younger populations, and shared a compelling patient story to illustrate its impact. MammoScreen launched a new app offering educational resources on breast cancer and explaining the functionality of the MammoWave device. The LUCIA project also discussed the next steps as it approaches its final phase.
